The Hunter Valley’s very own Cosmic Country Weekend, Dashville Skyline officially gets underway later today.

If the pre-party on Thursday night with Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes was anything to go by, the long weekend at Lower Belford will be one for the ages.

With an absolutely stacked lineup including Tim Rogers & The Twin Set, Via and Linda, William Crighton, and The Settlement we thought we’d give you a heads-up on some acts that need to be on your must-see list.

GOOD CORN LIQUOR

We can’t think of a better way to kick off your festival weekend with a bit of Good Corn Liquor. The dynamic country, bluesy bluegrass band, born from childhood friendships in Gunnedah, has been absolutely kicking arse recently. Their performances are nothing short of an exhilarating ride โ€“ full of energy, sweat, and pure musical fun. The band’s infectious love for music and their unwavering passion for playing with each other is sure to sweep you off your feet.

WHEN: Friday at 5:20pm on the Townes Hall Stage

JIMMY WILLING & THE REAL GONE HICK-UPS

This unlikely collective defies convention like no other act you’ve encountered. Fearlessly pushing the boundaries of music, they craft songs that delve into the essence of one-horse towns, rodeo clowns, and girls with holes in their stockings. Their performances are always rousing experience breaking all molds and leaving you wanting more.

WHEN: Saturday at 2:10pm on the Townes Hall Stage

SWEET TALK

Drawing inspiration from southern, blues, country, gospel, soul, and rock legends, Sweet Talk has crafted a sound uniquely their own. Their high-octane live shows have been known to whip crowds into a dancing frenzy and their return to the Hunter Valley stage will be warmly welcomed by the fans they made last time they played the Dashville stage.

WHEN: Saturday at 9:55pm on Willie Wall Stage

WATTY THOMPSON

Watty Thompson’s music is a unique blend of country and folk, but above all, it’s 100% heart. The Australian neo-bush balladeer always delivers an amazing set which makes him a festival favourite all around the country and we can’t wait to see him back on stage at Dashville.

WHEN: Sunday at 4:50pm on the Willie Wall Stage

DASHVILLE PROGRESS SOCIETY

It’s not a Dashville festival until the Progress Society takes to the stage. And from what we hear, their set at this year’s Skyline is going to be very special. Let’s just say you’ll be feeling the love emanating from around the festival arena.

WHEN: Sunday at 9:55pm on the Townes Hall Stage
