With NSW getting a bit of an early Chrissy pressie in the form of ‘Freedom Day’ this week, the good folks over at Dashville are getting into the spirit, with a celebration that promises to be fuller than Santa’s sack!
That’s right, the Hunter region’s premier purveyor of boutique festival experiences will be stoking that Yule log this December with two days of musical and family-friendly fun.
It’s all set to kick off on Friday 11 December with a ticketed Dashville Nights concert and while there’s no word yet on who will be gracing the stage, with the likes of Dan Brodie, Shane Nicholson, Zombonimo, and Magpie Diaries lending their talents to the intimate shows, you can rest assured that the sounds at this one will be sweet.
Then on Saturday 12 December, wake up in serenity, or head on out to join the crew for the return of the Christmas Party and Family Portrait Day.
After its successful inception in 2020, the silly-season soiree will again be a great family day out for a pre-Chrissy catch-up and a priceless pic of your mob.
Spread out across the sprawling bush venue the party will be an afternoon full of live music, family portraits, local markets, a pre-loved car boot sale, loads of kids activities and picnic vibes aplenty with the world-famous Swoop Inn serving up fresh picnic baskets full of delicious treats for adult and kids and the even more famous Bird Bath bar in full flight.
The Dashville crew is also encouraging any and all local schools and community groups to get in touch ASAP if interested in hosting a fundraising stall at the markets or to be part of the Car Boot Sale.
Fa la la la la, la la la la!
