Newcastle Craft Beer Week kicks off this Sunday with events being held at The Lucky, The Edwards, Foghorn Brewhouse & The Hop Factory. The festival will continue throughout the week with collaborations with some of the city’s finest venues & breweries finishing up with a special event at Warners At The Bay on March 13, where Murray’s Brewery will debut a new brew.

Newcastle Craft Beer Week is a great way to get involved in the Australian craft beer scene. Whether it’s your first craft beer or your 50th, craft beer week has something for everyone! We even have a cider-based event and something special for our friends up in Maitland.
Many ticketed events will sell out so it’s critical to get in early, but there are also plenty of free and non-ticketed events to enjoy at your whim. Check out the festival website for more information.
This is a grassroots movement run primarily by proud and passionate Novocastrian volunteers, whose aim is to support both Newcastle and its local beer scene. Newcastle has one of the best craft beer scenes in Australia and there is no better time to celebrate it!
