Comedy favourite Nick Cody is bringing his brand-new stand-up show Crusher to Newcastle this July, delivering his trademark mix of sharp observations, honesty and big laughs.

After taking longer than planned to return to the stage, Cody is back with a fresh hour of comedy exploring the chaos of modern life, personal disasters and the everyday challenges that come with family, responsibility and trying to keep it all together.

Known for his laid-back charm and fearless approach to comedy, Cody has built a reputation as one of Australia’s most entertaining performers.

Crusher promises the kind of unfiltered storytelling and hilarious takes on life’s absurd moments that have made him a favourite with audiences across the country.

Away from stand-up, Cody is also a familiar voice on Australian airwaves as co-host of Melbourne’s Fox FM Breakfast show with Fifi and Fev.

He also co-hosts the popular Mid Flight Brawl podcast with comedian Luke Heggie, which dives into some of the strangest and most outrageous stories from the world of air travel.

Cody’s extensive career has seen him perform at major comedy events including CONAN, the Melbourne Comedy Festival OXFAM Gala and Just For Laughs, while also appearing on shows including The Project, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Talking ‘Bout Your Generation and Hughesy We Have a Problem.

Nick Cody brings Crusher to the Newcastle Conservatorium on Saturday 18 July. Tickets are on sale now via Century Entertainment. The show is part of Cody’s national tour, with performances also scheduled across Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and New South Wales.
