Darren Coggan and Damien Leith are en route to Newcastle for a show that honours two of the most inspiring songwriters of all time, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
They’ll hit the stage at Lizotte’s this Friday with a setlist made up of some of the most celebrated songs of all time.
The Two Of Us – The Songs Of Lennon & McCartney show is an intimate and acoustic affair covering everything from the immortal songs from The Beatles right through the pair’s solo offerings.
We’re talking tunes like Hey Jude, All You Need Is Love, Yesterday, Imagine, Mull Of Kintyre, Eleanor Rigby, Let It Be, Jealous Guy, Beautiful Boy and Blackbird just to name a few.
Darren and Damien are bringing the lush sounds of The Strawberry Fields Stringed Quartet along for the ride too. Together they give new life to the timeless songbook of these master songwriters.
