Get ready to hear the songs of Neil Diamond like never before because Classical Diamond – Trilogy in Symphony will hit Belmont 16s this October.

This show promises a symphonic journey through three of Diamond’s most celebrated albums, performed by international artist Peter Byrne.

Accompanied by a world-class 30-piece symphony orchestra the show breathes new life into Hot August Night, The Jazz Singer, and Jonathan Livingston Seagull, showcasing the legendary singer-songwriter’s timeless hits like you’ve never heard.

The show opens with a full symphonic rendition of Hot August Night, one of Neil Diamond’s most iconic live albums.

Originally recorded at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles more than 50 years ago, songs like Crunchy Granola Suite, Cherry Cherry, Sweet Caroline, and I Am I Said are performed with grandeur and dynamics.

Following Hot August Night moves into the haunting score of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, a Grammy Award-winning soundtrack from the 1973 film adaptation of Richard Bach’s bestseller. The symphony will bring to life timeless tracks such as Dear Father, Lonely Looking Sky, and Be, allowing listeners to immerse themselves in the delicate and evocative compositions that underscore Diamond’s musical genius.

The show concludes with selections from The Jazz Singer, Neil Diamond’s cinematic classic from the 1980s. You’ll hear hits like Love on the Rocks, Summer Love, Hello Again, and America – which closes the show on such a powerful and patriotic note you’ll be chanting USA, USA, USA as you leave the auditorium.

The Trilogy In Symphony show hits the stage at Belmont 16s on Friday 25 October 2024. Visit trybooking.com for show information and tickets.
