A Cardiff local, who’s $100,000 richer today thanks to a win in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw, said he’ll be celebrating with his dog.
The Lake Macquarie resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10747, drawn Friday 20 January 2023.
“Is this true?! Did I really win?!” the man said when The Lott rang.
“I’m always receiving scam calls, so I was very apprehensive at first, but now that I know it’s true, I want to kiss you! Actually, I want to marry you!
“One hundred thousand dollars?! You’re sending shivers down my spine!
“I only just checked this ticket before you called. The results weren’t ready as the draw hadn’t been drawn yet. It’s crazy how these things happen!
“I regularly purchase tickets into Lucky Lotteries draws, so it’s great to have finally scored big.
“I want to tell everyone, but absolutely no one at the same time! Perhaps I’ll celebrate with my dog, and he can have some fancier treats tonight!”
The winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased at Cardiff Central Newsagency on Macquarie Road.
