The lineup for the Cambridge Hotel Farewell Festival has just dropped and let’s just say that the three-day festival extravaganza that promises to be one for the books!
Saying farewell to one of Newcastle’s most iconic music venues was never going to be easy… But, this announcement may serve as the aloe vera you’ve been looking for.
From 23 June to 25 June, The Cambridge Hotel Farewell Festival will be taking over the streets of Newcastle’s West End with a lineup that will blow your mind.
Headliners include Illy, Peking Duk, and Grinspoon, along with a roster of local and international acts that will keep you dancing all weekend long.
Friday’s Hip-Hop/Rap lineup features ARIA winner Illy, 360, Drapht, JK-47, and Triple One, among others.
Saturday’s Indie/Electro day boasts Peking Duk, The Rubens, Boo Seeka, Northeast Party House, and Adam Newling,
Sunday’s Rock/Grunge day sees Grinspoon playing their last-ever show, along with The Smith Street Band, Dune Rats, British India, Hope D, and The Hard Aches.
With two stages, special guest appearances, plenty of bars, food trucks, and official Farewell Cambridge merch for sale, this festival is the perfect way to say goodbye to a venue that has been an integral part of the Newcastle community for over 70 years.
The whole thing is open to a limited capacity of 3500 lucky guests.
