The Carrington Bowling Club is gearing up for an epic April with a killer roster of local talent that promises to provide an “eggcellent” time for everyone.

Carrodise will be rocking with the sounds of Montezuma, Milestones and Leadbellies.

The Easter Monday public holiday kick-ons will be made all that sweeter with Mathmatics & Tone on the decks providing some Voodoo Vibes spinning some funk, soul, hip hop, boogie, reggae, nu-jazz and of course, a touch of disco!

Aside from the fantastic live music, foodies can expect to indulge in a delectable feast courtesy of the team at Cowper St Diner.

And with 12 rotating beer taps showcasing a variety of independent craft breweries, imported beers, and classic favourites, not to mention a tempting selection of gins and whiskeys, you’ll be well-catered to all weekend long.

Check out the HUGE lineup of music happening at the Bowlo for Easter below and lock in ANZAC Day over the bridge with a Dawn Service at 5:45 am and live music from 2:00 pm. Visit Carrington Bowling Club on Facebook for updates.

APRIL 2023

SATURDAY 1 APRIL
CORNFEST

Cornfest is back for 2023! Kicking off at 1 pm with live music from Shadow Cast, Kingsley James and Good Corn Liquor! And, just like last year, there will be corn on the cob, cornhole and corn chips! And it’s only $10 on the door.

Music from 1:00 pm

GOOD FRIDAY 7 APRIL
MONTEZUMA

A three-piece band formed in the early ’90s with John Larder on guitar, Steve Geary on bass and their new drummer Tom Oliver. The band kicks off a massive long weekend of live music on Friday afternoon at the bowlo at 3 pm.

Music from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

EASTER SATURDAY 8 APRIL
MILESTONES

The Milestones are a rockโ€™nโ€™roll band that plays a lot of songs from the sixties (because apparently, the music was better back then). Rather than being treated as museum pieces the band give these tunes room to breathe, being played with passion and virtuosity….Even the drums are pretty good.

Music from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

EASTER SUNDAY 9 APRIL
LEADBELLIES

The Leadbellies describe themselves as a hot rod electric dance blues band. Yeah, sure, it’s a bit of a mouthful, but the music is big and the licks are slick.

Music from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

MONDAY 10 APRIL
VOODOO VIBES

We couldn’t think of a better way to see out the long weekend than with Mathmatics & Tone on the decks providing some Voodoo Vibes at the bowl. Head over the bridge after 3:00 pm on Easter Monday for some funk, soul, hip hop, boogie, reggae, nu-jazz and of course, some disco!

Music from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
