Hot on the heels of her national Love Monster tour earlier this year, Gold Coast pop chanteuse Amy Shark is extending the party to regional centres.
And she’s kicking things off in Newcastle!
That’s right, the Adore hitmaker will playa NEX on Thursday, October 3, in what will be Amy’s first Newcastle show since the This That festival back in November last year.
“So many parts of regional Australia have backed me since my first Night Thinker EP,” Amy said.
“I’m really looking forward to travelling around this beautiful country and repaying everyone who’s supported me from the start.”
Since releasing here breakthrough single Adore back in 2016, Amy Shark’s star has continued on an upward trajectory.
On the strength of that single, and follow-ups Drive You Mad, and Weekends, the resulting EP The Night Thinker which peaked at number two on the ARIA charts.
Amy hit it out of the park again with the debut album Love Monster which rocketed straight to number one while Adore and the album’s lead single, I Said Hi, have hit platinum status four times over.
Oh, and she’s also been pricking up more than a few international ears with performances on the likes of The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
