IT WILL GET LOUD: There’s gonna be an AFTERMATH at the Hamilton Station Hotel!

Sydney heavy hitters Astrodeath will bring the big riffs to the Hamilton Station Hotel this August.

With the post-apocalyptic display of musical strength and solidarity, Aftermath hitting metropolitan centres this winter, what better way for us Novocastrians to warm the cockles of our hearts than with a hotter-than-Hades sideshow?

Well, that’s exactly what you’re going to get when Aftermath Newcastle rolls into the Hamilton Station Hotel this August.

With the likes of heavy hitters Bad Moon Born, Bare Bones, Black Rheno and Hytest hitting up the metro centres, this Newy iteration looks no less enticing.

In fact, Aftermath Newcastle brings a riff-laden seven-band bill to the Staysh including the mammoth sounding Sydney two-piece Astrodeath and Melbourne stoner-rock merchants Planet of the 8s.

The local contingent is strong, too with the likes of hard rockers The Witching Hour, the ever-raucous Bitchcraft, volume enthusiasts Zombonimo, righteous racket makers Boudicca, and uncompromising metal heads Whatever completing a line-up that is sure to melt at least a part of your face.

With the shackles of the last little while slowly being loosened, there has probably never been a more feverous desire to experience the unbridled energy of a full-tilt rock gig.

And this coming together of heavy musical minds is sure to scratch that itch!

Aftermath Newcastle is on at the Hamilton Station Hotel on Sunday 8 August. Head here for tickets but you’ll need to get on this one FAST because it will sell out!
