This year’s competition has been hotly contested kicking off at Summernats in Canberra with heats also held in Rockhampton, Perth, Dubbo, Glenreagh, Albury, Murrurundi, Alice Springs and of course, where it all began, Kurri Kurri.

Hebburn Motorsport Park, just outside Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley, will host the Mulletfest Grand Final which will raise funds for Mark Hughes Foundation.

Golden guitar winner Karen O’Shea will be on stage and the Mulletfest Crew Anthem, Party in the Back, will be performed live by vocalist Chris Williams.

A Majestic Music disco, face painting and jumping castle will entertain the kids and they’ll be plenty of food and drink options on offer too.

Celebrity Judges include the Award Winning Kevin Allen, from Kevin Allen Hairdressing in Double Bay, Jenny from Lee Nesbit Hair Design in Darby Street and Bonnie Nelson from Katies Hair Co in Adamstown as well as previous winner Lyn Fry from the Extreme Mullet Category in 2019.
