Youth Rockin’ The Black Dog entries close soon

Time is running out to get your entries in for this year’s Youth Rockin’ The Black Dog band competition.

If you’re under 25 and perform music, this competition is for you. Youth Rockin’ the Black Dog (YRBD) is a music competition designed to raise awareness of mental health among young people in the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid-North Coast regions. Apart from being a platform for young emerging artists, the competition encourages young people to get thinking and talking about mental health issues with friends, family and networks. It also promotes a range of local and national services available to support young people.

There’s prizes to be won, great venues to be played in, and a whole bunch of fun to be had for both entrants and audiences.

Entries for this year’s comp close on Friday 15th August, 5pm. For more information you can visit himh.org.au
