Hot Chocolate, one of the biggest chart-topping bands from the ‘70s and ‘80s, will headline a massive day of music outdoors at The Station im Newcastle this October.
For decades, Hot Chocolate were staples on every radio station in the country, with a string of hits that mixed soul with an irresistible groove.
The list of hits is impressive! You Sexy Thing, Emma, Every 1’s A Winner, It Started With A Kiss, Heaven’s In The Back Seat Of My Cadillac, So You Win Again, I’ll Put You Together Again, Girl Crazy, and so many more!
Fronted by the charismatic Kennie Simon for the last 16 years, Hot Chocolate deliver shows packed with songs that not only appeal to those old enough to have heard the hits when they were first released but to a growing legion of younger fans that just dig the music.
You know when you go to a concert and you hear hit after hit after hit? Well, this is one of those.
From the lush, soaring ballad of It Started With A Kiss to the subdued sensual groove of You Sexy Thing, Hot Chocolate’s hit-packed set will give you no choice but to get up and dance.
Also on the day, you can catch Aussie icons The Radiators, whose classics include No Tragedy, Comin’ Home and (I Wish That I Was) 17 Again and an Aussie supergroup featuring current and former members of Dragon, Mondo Rock, Wolfmother, Choirboys, The Superjesus, John Butler Trio, Savage Garden, with the dubious name The Filthy Animals. Plus local favourites DV8 and The Viper Creek Band.
