Auckland indie favourites No Cigar are bringing their biggest Australian tour to date to the Hamilton Station Hotel this September.

The tour marks a major step forward for the New Zealand band, who quickly built a following in Australia after touring here in 2025.

Their 2026 run will be their most expansive Australian tour yet, reflecting the growing momentum around the band as they continue to explore new influences and sounds.

No Cigar have already made serious waves internationally, with more than 500,000 Spotify listeners, upwards of 36 million total streams and more than eight million plays of their album Under The Surface.

The record was also voted the fourth-best international album of the year by Radio Hauraki.

The band’s growing reputation has taken them to major stages including The Great Escape in the UK, BIGSOUND, Supersonic’s Block Party Festival in Paris and Rhythm & Vines.

They have also supported Mako Road and are set to play their biggest London headline show yet at the Electric Ballroom.

Adding to the Newcastle date is local artist Charlie Farmer, who will join the tour for the Hamilton Station Hotel show.

No Cigar play Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle on Sunday, 20 September 2026 with Charlie Farmer on support. Tickets are available now through oztix.com.au.
