There’s a stack of great events happening in Lake Mac this month and we’ve teamed up with Lake Macquarie City Council to tell you all about them.

Lake Macquarie Rogaine

Grab your teammates and explore beautiful rainforests, pristine creeks, friendly fauna and an extensive track network at the Watagan Mountains. Featuring a 6 hour and 12-hour event option.

ART AND CULTURE

6 Week Natural Illustration course

Explore different techniques, mediums, and art styles for depicting a range of nature subjects (both flora and fauna) with botanical scientific illustrator and nature artist, Molly Gill. $150 pp, Discover Vouchers accepted.

Volunteer Information Session

The Arts, Culture and Tourism team at Lake Macquarie City Council is looking for volunteers to support events, exhibition spaces and community programs.

When: Tuesday 20 July 2021
Where: Warners Bay Theatre

Art Club: Tuesdays @ Wangi

At these workshops, students will explore different kinds of artworks, media, techniques and materials. The cost for the 4-week course is $110. Creative Kids Vouchers accepted.
