What to expect when Fleetwood Mac play Hope Estate

Spoiler alert! We were lucky enough to be in the crowd for Fleetwood Mac’s tour debut at Sydney’s Allphones Arena last Thursday. Here’s what you can expect when Fleetwood Mac play Hope Estate on the 14th and 15th of November.

Mick Fleetwood is the star of the show

There’s no mistake, this is Mick Fleetwood’s band. And he really owns it. It’s not only the drum solo you’ve probably heard about, it’s so much more. On the record it’s all about the trio, but live… Mick owns it.

Stevie Nicks has still got it

It’s easy to forget that Stevie Nicks is 67 years old. The voice, the way she moves on stage, her mystery… It’s alive and well. She’s just that good.

THAT guitar solo

The guitar solo Lindsey Buckingham plays during I’m So Afraid is without doubt one of the best guitar moments we’ve ever witnessed. Hands down one of the highlights of the show. This is not the moment to take a toilet break.

A farewell from a songbird

The last word of the night belonged to Christine McVie. It was delicate and fitting.

Fleetwood Mac play Hope Estate on the 14th and 15th of November.  Some tickets are still available for  Saturday November 14th.
