Cirque du Soleil’s production of Quidam hits the Newcastle Entertainment Centre in January. We’ve taken a look at the show and we wanted to share with you some of the great stuff you can expect to see.
Aerial Hoops
Stunning feats of grace and dexterity performed high above the stage.
Banquine
A spectacular sequence of perfectly synchronized movements.
The Aviator
His skeletal wings can’t help him escape this world and its problems.
German Wheel
A twisting, turning human spoke manically maneuvers a double wheel around the stage.
Spanish Webs
Time stands still as the acrobats drop into the void, stopped only by the ropes looped around their waists or ankles.
Statue
Never losing contact, two strong, flexible performers assume positions impossible without an impeccable sense of balance.
