After wandering the barren, featureless ‘Rona desert in 2020, everyone’s favourite cosmic country weekender Dashville Skyline is back on deck this October long weekend!
After a massive 2019 iteration that saw the likes of Archie Roach, Wagons, Kill Devil Hills, and William Crighton mesmerise the Dashville faithful, the popular festival joined forces with the cancelled Gum Ball to create Sky Ball – a five-night concert series that further cemented Dashville’s commitment to providing unforgettable live music experiences.
Returning for the 6th instalment in 2021, organisers are excited about the prospects of harnessing Federal grant opportunities and building on the music industry side of the event, with more songwriter/musician focused workshops, music industry networking and discussion panels.
Of course, all those inclusions will feature alongside an ultra-chilled three-day live music program which generally hosts around 40 live performances over two stages.
While there has been no word on the line-up as yet, you can bet your bottom dollar that, after 12 months away, the festival will be looking to pull out all the stops when it comes to securing some top tier talent.
With laid back camping, mouth-watering American-inspired food and bevvies, boutique market stalls, antique car and bike display, an animal petting zoo and much more, itโs the perfect destination for the family over the October long weekend.
Dashville Skyline is on from Friday 1 October to Sunday 3 October and tickets are on sale now. Artist applications are also open now and close on Tuesday 1 June.
