Rick Price will celebrate the release of his new blues and roots, EP, Wayfaring Stranger with a gig at Lizotte’s in October.

This EP is a soul-stirring collection that pays tribute to timeless gospel classics, including Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Wade In The Water, and Will The Circle Be Unbroken.

These hymns and gospel songs have stood the test of time, with interpretations by music legends like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Elvis Presley, among others. Now, Rick Price adds his name to this illustrious list of artists who have breathed new life into these cherished melodies.

Recorded and produced in the heart of Nashville, Wayfaring Stranger features collaborations with some of the United States’ most legendary musicians. Tom Bukovac on guitar, Dennis Crouch on bass, Jimmy Wallace on organ/piano, and Joshua Hunt on drums have contributed their immense talents to create a truly uplifting musical journey.

Rick Price’s upcoming performance at Lizotte’s promises to be a night of soulful melodies and heartfelt renditions. With his rich and emotive vocals, he will transport the audience to the heart of gospel music’s heritage, offering a memorable experience for music enthusiasts and fans alike.
