If you’re a University of Newcastle student or a resident of the greater Newcastle area, you have the chance to be part of the animation team that will produce a video clip for Daniel Johns’ next single, Going On 16.
An open competition to animate Daniel Johns’ latest music video for his new track ‘Going on 16’ opens today.
The clip will be premiered on opening night (Friday 31 July) of the Newcastle International Animation Festival at Tower Cinemas on King Street.
The animation festival is Australia’s biggest, with 60 of the world’s best short animated films unveiled over 2 days from 31 July – 1 August.
UON animation students recently became world famous with their Taylor Swift homage going viral on YouTube and being covered by BuzzFeed, Mashable, USA Today and Time Magazine.
