Wankernomics is bringing its Show_v4.1_Final_USETHIS tour to Newcastle this month.
The razor-sharp satire of modern workplace culture, created by comedy legends James Schloeffel and Charles Firth, has built a cult following and racked up more than 50 million views online by skewering the absurdities of corporate life.
Framed as a tongue-in-cheek “thought-leadership deep dive”, the new show, Show_v4.1_Final_USETHIS, tackles everything from endless meetings and hollow mission statements to LinkedIn influencers and overused buzzwords like “synergy”.
“Wankernomics Show_v4.1_Final_USETHIS is more than a show; itโs an invitation to explore ideas and unlock value. I have no idea what that means, but hopefully it sounds impressive,” James Schloeffel said.
“Iโm pretty maxed out on bandwidth right now. Can I circle back with a quote by COB?” Charles Firth added.
Since launching in 2023, Wankernomics has expanded well beyond the stage, including a Sunday Times best-selling book, A Deep Dive Into Workplace Bullshittery, and a string of acclaimed festival appearances, including a standout run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.
Wankernomics will land at Civic Theatre Newcastle on Friday, 29 May as part of its 2026 national tour. Hit wankernomics.com tour info and tickets.
