This Sunday (Aug 9) the Wallsend Winter Carnivale will heat up the streets for a fun, family day.
In past years the Wallsend Winter Carnivale has attracted over 35,000 people. The crowds have enjoyed special offers from local businesses, market stalls, entertainment and sideshow alley style rides.
The event also attracts over 30 local community groups who use the event to showcase their products and services.
The Wallsend Winter Carnivale has been designed for families with a traditional Circus Theme. There’ll be High Wire Trapeze, Roving Street Performers, Clowns and Circus Acts.
As well as the colour, vibrancy of the circus, local businesses are geared up to cook up a storm, hold fashion shows, hair shows and business special offers on the day all mixed in with a select group of quality market stalls offering arts, craft and fine foods.
