A new monthly dining experience pairing top wines with curated cuisine is set to launch at Jana Restaurant & Bar, with the venue unveiling its new Vine & Dine series.
Hosted inside QT Newcastle, the series will invite celebrated winemakers to take over the wine list for the evening, matching their signature drops with a specially designed five-course menu.
Each event is intended to highlight the character of the featured winery while creating a relaxed but immersive dining experience.
Running across the final Fridays from March through May, Vine & Dine is designed to blend storytelling with flavour.
Guests will hear the stories behind each label while enjoying dishes carefully crafted to complement the wines, turning the evening into a kind of live wine “playlist” where each course and pour builds on the last.
The first event will feature De Beaurepaire Wines, bringing its distinctive European-influenced wines to the table for the series opener. The dinner will showcase a line-up of the winery’s signature drops paired with a menu designed to highlight their character and balance.
In April, the series will align with Newcastle Food Month, featuring a special collaboration with Hungerford Hill. The program will wrap up in May with a showcase from Vino Bambino, rounding out three evenings celebrating standout producers and thoughtful food pairings.
Vine & Dine will be held at Jana Restaurant & Bar at QT Newcastle, with the first dinner on 27 March at 6pm, followed by events on 24 April and 15 May. Tickets are $159 per person for the March and April dinners and $169 per person for the May event, with bookings available through the QT Newcastle website.
