Victoria Nicolls joins the Menopause The Musical cast

Australian actress and television personality Victoria Nicolls has joined the cast of a new production of Menopause The Musical witch heads to Wests Leagues Club in New Lambton on Wednesday the 8th of November.

Nicolls is arguably best knowns for her time of Australian TV game show Sale of the Century as a hostess from 1980 to 1982. In our recent phone interview she told us that once she left TV she decided to focus on rasing a new family.

“I had kids for me, and I wanted to be there to enjoy it” She told us.

“I’ve had offers to join theatre casts over the years, but I wanted to focus on raising my family and travelling around the country with a production isn’t conducive to to that”.

Menopause The Musical – Women on Fire is set around four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra on sale, come to find they have more to share than ever imagined. The cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they realise that Menopause is no longer “the silent passage”.

“Look, I’m going to be having so much fun with these shows. It’s a great script and there’s something in it for everyone no matter the stage of life they find themselves in. Women will relate to it and men can learn something from it… All while having a laugh” she chuckles.

Tickets are on sale now.
