Liv Gritten and Jame Strezov are the local musos behind one of Newcastle’s newest bands, Veiins. They dropped by last week for a chat about their debut single, Thief In Your Head and today we’re thrilled to exclusively share the video for the song here on Newcastle Live!
Produced by Newcastle’s very own Holliday Music, the video is awash with special effects, dynamic cuts, and great shots. It really gives of an angsty vibe that leaves you both thoroughly entertained and slightly creeped out.
The single itself is a mix of industrial electronica with a rock sensibility. It’s got a driving guitar line and a killer vocal hook. As you’ll hear in the interview below, both Liv and Jame credit local Hew Jones with giving them the inspiration and tools to create the final sound you hear on the single.
