The Van Gogh Alive Grand Pavilion has taken over Foreshore Park in Newcastle and promises to give visitors one of the most multi-sensory experiences of their lives.

The giant Grand Pavilion, a 70m X 25m bespoke marquee, is the home to a digital spectacular that literally puts you inside the art of the famous Dutch Post-Impressionist painter.

Van Goghโ€™s masterpieces are brought to life with light, colour, sound and fragrances that will transport you to another time and place including Van Goghโ€™s Bedroom.

When you arrive at the Grand Pavilion you’ll enter the Interpretative Area giving you all the information you need to really take a deep dive into the art of Vincent van Gogh.

Once you move into the Sensory gallery, you’ll be forgiven if you totally forget where you are. The powerful immersive experience will be something you’ll remember forever.

The most photographed (yes, you’re welcome to take pictures) room however is defiantly the Immersive Sunflower installation.

It’s a mirrored room, complete with hundreds of sunflowers, that provides an incredible backdrop for a selfie and is worth the price of admission alone!

#PROTIP: Before you leave, don’t forget to visit the Grand Pavilion Cafรฉ for a light lunch and a cheeky. The cafรฉ, a recreation of Van Goghโ€™s Cafรฉ Terrace at Night, is the ultimate way to end your time at the Grand Pavilion.
