UON students remix Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off

The Plasmatic Research Laboratory at the University Of Newcastle is a new animation lab in the Design department. 49 of the department’s students were each given 52 frames of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” which they turned into 2767 frames of lovingly hand-drawn rotoscoped footage.

The original song debuted at number five on the Australian Singles Chart.  The single has been certified five times Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The music video, directed by Mark Romanek, was shot in Los Angeles.
