Is the fridge a little too close to your now home-based work station? Are you finding you lack self-isolation snack control? Interested in healthy eating but not sure exactly where to start?
So, we were very interested to see the latest free on-line short course offering from the University of Newcastle – The Science of Weight Loss: Dispelling Diet Myths
Having seen the project lead, Professor Clare Collins, present both in a lecture format and on various television programs we know this course will be both informative and easy to implement into our everyday lives.
Clare is passionate about health and well being and the objective of the course is to “arm yourself with the knowledge and tools to make healthy eating decisions as you learn the science behind weight loss and dispel diet and nutrition myths”.
The Science of Weight Loss: Dispelling Diet Myths course kicks off on Wednesday 6 May and runs over a six week period. It is free to participate, although you must complete the registration process through edX. For those who want to make it a little more “formal” a certificate of completion can be obtained for a payment of US$49.00.
