The wait is over! Under The Southern Stars organisers have dropped a new date for their local leg of their festival tour.
Rock royalty Cheap Trick, global rock superstars, Bush and the legendary Stone Temple Pilots will now rock the Hunter on Friday, 11 March 2022 at the Maitland Showground.
“Under The Southern Stars will without a doubt rock audience to the core and give them what they’ve all craved since March 2020,” Promoter Andrew McManus said.
“A line up that features the bands and the music they love – both Australian and International artists up in front of them in the flesh and playing their hits, live…it has been way too long!”
All previously purchased tickets are valid for the new date and presale for new tickets starts on Friday, 26 November at 9.00 am.
Aussie rockers Rose Tattoo and Electric Mary will also make their way around the country for the tour. They’ll join Black Rebel Motorcycle Club who have recently been added to the lineup.
“To say we’re excited by finally being able to announce Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as a new addition and FOURTH high profile international rock band joining our already stellar line-up is an understatement,” Mr McManus said.
Festival organisers also used the announcement to thank everyone who had kept their tickets to the festival for their patience and faith in the event.
“With the nation slowly emerging from the most trying period of our lives, we are extremely excited to get the show back on the road and deliver one hell of a rock n roll experience for fans everywhere, times twelve,” the statement said.
