Tulloch to tempt taste buds at 2019 Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival

The 2019 Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival, currently underway, is yet another great way to take in the myriad delights that Australia’s premier wine-growing region.

Running now until the end of June, the festival showcases the cream of the crop of this iconic food and wine destination – think incredible gourmet dinners at award-winning restaurants, vineyard tours, winemaking and cooking classes.

This year iconic Hunter wine producer Tulloch Wines are getting on board with two special events sure to whet the appetites of even the fussiest of gourmand.

Tulloch Wines and Goose on the Loose 

Tulloch Wines have partnered with Australia’s finest artisan salami makers Goose on the Loose for this fun and interactive wine tasting experience.

Enjoy five Tulloch wines matched to a selection of 5 salamis from Goose on the Loose as you take your taste buds on a tour of a different kind. From the sweet subtle flavours of Pork and Truffle to the robust flavours of Duck and Kangaroo, you will be guided through the art of matching wines to these mouth-filling flavours.

When: Daily in May and June

Viva Verdelho

In the Hunter Valley, the Verdelho variety produces wines that are lively tropical and vibrant – the perfect accompaniment to the Australian way of life. Tulloch, one of the pioneering families of Verdelho in the Hunter Valley, produces five different styles of this crowd-pleasing variety, from the fun celebratory sparkling style of ‘Verscato’ to the luscious fortified Crème de Vin and various styles in-between. Take the journey with Tulloch experience the five styles and the versatility of Verdelho matched with five food accompaniments.

When: Wednesday 1 May – Sunday 30 June 10am – 4pm
