The state government is seeking input from musicians, artists, creative industry practitioners, organizations, and community members to shape New South Wales’ first integrated arts, culture, and creative industries policy.

As part of the process Create NSW will hold a series of town hall meetings across the state including one here in Newcastle.

It’s a meeting that will give people from the local industry a chance to ask questions, share insights, and actively shape the future of arts, culture, and creative industries in NSW.

During the session, all comments, and feedback will be recorded and documented to help shape the new policy that aims to create an inclusive and vibrant arts and culture scene that represents the diverse communities around the state.

People who are unable to attend are also encouraged to provide feedback online at haveyoursay.nsw.gov.au.

The Create NSW Town Hall Forum will be held at Fort Scratchley Function Centre on Monday, 24 July 2023. To reserve a spot, visit eventbrite.com.au.
