Joining a gym
One of my favourite things about the new year, is seeing people jogging on New Years day. They are hungover as heck, but here they are, sweating it out at dawn. I know this because last year I passed them all, as I stumbled back home and watched the sunrise. Exercise is great though, and new year new you or not, why not make 2019 the year of #blessed #health
New hair cut

A new habit
Any sentence that starts with this year I’m going to start/take up/try my hand at, screams new year new you. Want to learn guitar? Awesome. You know, the guitar that you got two Christmases ago because the new years before that you swore you wanted to learn guitar. Well now is your time to shine my friend. Get cracking on that reading routine, or new instrument playing, or whatever else you’d like to do. You do you my friend.
Breaking an old habit
It wouldn’t be a new year without someone giving up something they truly love. Like coffee, or alcohol, or swearing. Whatever it is, rest assured that this is the OG #newyearnewyou feat and should be taken very seriously especially for the first two weeks. Unless the habit you are breaking is using takeaway coffee cups then in that case please do not break that habit. Respect the environment man.
Meet new people
This is apparently ranked around number 4 for the top new years resolutions for 2019. It’s a pretty great goal and an achievable one, especially if you are also attempting to balance all of the above. You can go to a new years resolution support group and hang out with like mind. What a time to be alive.
