Tom Busby, best known as one half of Busby Marou, is striking out solo and will bring his Lottery Tour for a free show at Full Throttle Ranch in Buttai this November.

The tour previews Busby’s upcoming debut solo album Rockhampton Hangover, due for release in early 2026.

It follows his first solo run earlier this year, which sold out venues and signalled the rise of a cult-like following drawn to his raw energy and new direction.

Armed with a young band that he describes as “red hot,” Busby is revelling in the intimacy of smaller venues where the connection with audiences is immediate and electric.

The shows promise an authentic blend of storytelling and thumping live energy, setting the stage for his highly anticipated record.

His latest single Lottery is quickly becoming a favourite in his live set and has been picking up strong support on Double J. Built around a soaring whistle hook, it’s a celebration of life’s little wins and one of the most energetic tracks he’s written to date.

Recorded in Texas with indie icon Ben Kweller, Rockhampton Hangover is already generating major buzz. Early singles such as Waiting For Tomorrow, Someone Strong, and Cyclone are finding their place in the Australian songbook.

Tom Busby’s show is set for Saturday, 8 November 2025 at Full Throttle Ranch, and best of all, it’s a free gig. Tickets for all other shows are available now via tombusby.com.au.
