Well, now you have the chance to give your mate’s band some financial love thanks to American Express.
The financial giant recently announced its Music Backers Fund – an initiative that will see AmEx sing one million bucks into the Australian music industry to help aid in recovery efforts post-COVID.
Part of this effort is Nominate A Mate – which asks people to dob in a muso in their life or someone who makes music a part of their life such as teachers, sound engineers, producers, roadies et al, to go in the running to nab a much-needed $1500.
Nominations will be judged by a panel of industry boffins who will pick 100 nominees to enjoy the cash boost.
Oh, and if your mate manages to get over the line, you’ll go into the draw to win one of 20 Ticketmaster e-gift cards worth $250!
Not bad at all!
