It’s the ride-share service that launched in Newcastle in March this year. And DiDi has revealed the most frequented ‘hotspots’ in our fair city.
Based on the 250,000 trips the service has undertaken in 2019, ‘research’ has revealed that we are quite the studious city with the University of Newcastle revealed as the number one destination for DiDi users.
Aside from expanding our brains, we are also quite interested in expanding our wardrobes and pup time with Westfield Kotara, The Kent Hotel, The Hamilton Station Hotel and Charlestown Square rounding out the top five.
The rest of the list continued on a similar trajectory with Queens Wharf Hotel, the Newcastle Hotel, The Cambridge Hotel, Broadmeadow Station, and Honeysuckle Hotel completing the top ten.
It was also revealed that Novocastrians are quite good at forgetting their keys, airpods, and mobile phones, while the weirdest lost and found item was a wombat costume.
