Gamilaraay woman, musician and creator, Thelma Plum will kick off her national tour in Newcastle this October.

The show will celebrate the release of Plum’s forthcoming long player, Iโ€™m Sorry, Now Say It Back, a deeply personal collection of songs that marks a significant chapter in the iconic artist’s career.

“It seems like forever since I did a national headline tour, but with a brand new album to choose songs from, the band and I are putting together a whole new show to play in these beautiful rooms,” Plum said.

“This record has been a long time in the making. It was created with love, heartache, forgiveness and care in mind. Itโ€™s personal and kind of like Iโ€™m sharing pages from my diary with you, but itโ€™s time for it to fly free.”

You can check out the new single, Freckles now, with the new album set for release on 18 October – Just ahead of the show in Newcastle.

Melbourne’s alternative folk band The Slingers, will open for Plum in Newcastle with their alt-country sounds and tracks from their 2023 album, Sentimentalism.
