Gamilaraay woman, musician and creator, Thelma Plum will kick off her national tour in Newcastle this October.
The show will celebrate the release of Plum’s forthcoming long player, Iโm Sorry, Now Say It Back, a deeply personal collection of songs that marks a significant chapter in the iconic artist’s career.
“It seems like forever since I did a national headline tour, but with a brand new album to choose songs from, the band and I are putting together a whole new show to play in these beautiful rooms,” Plum said.
“This record has been a long time in the making. It was created with love, heartache, forgiveness and care in mind. Itโs personal and kind of like Iโm sharing pages from my diary with you, but itโs time for it to fly free.”
You can check out the new single, Freckles now, with the new album set for release on 18 October – Just ahead of the show in Newcastle.
Melbourne’s alternative folk band The Slingers, will open for Plum in Newcastle with their alt-country sounds and tracks from their 2023 album, Sentimentalism.
