The story of the Castanet Club is a tale of Newcastle in the 80s. A club, a cast of characters, and a movement that has gone down in history with a cast that has spawned some of the countries great comedy talents such as Mikey Robbins and The Sandman, artists, writers, and many others who went on to even bigger things.
The film was made to coincide with the current exhibition at Newcastle Museum and is now available to watch from home.
For filmmakers Glenn Dormand and Tony Whittaker it was a labour of love.
