LIVE MUSIC

Four live music acts will keep your toes tapping throughout the night, ranging from energetic brass and jazz to soul and ska.

GEORGIE JONES
From 5:00 pm

Georgie is a renowned performing artist who possesses rare vocal talent. Having collaborated in various musical projects over the years, she now embarks on a solo musical journey. Georgie’s voice lends itself to a vast array of styles, though Miss Jones explores blues & country sounds while anchored into soul.

HALF NELSON
From 6:00 pm

Half Nelson is a unique mix of musicians, from a wide variety of backgrounds. From the New Orleans Jazz to Free Improvisation and all manner of music along the way. This combination has helped to forge a band dedicated to the era of jazz they love The 1920’s to the 40’s.

NICKY BOMBA
From 7:00 pm

After years of working with bands from Africa to the Middle East and honing his reggae, ska and mento expertise, Nicky has drawn on his musical journeys and philosophies to produce his first-ever solo work, Planet Juice. This collection captures songs that have been sitting in the bag for years to new tunes – freshly squeezed.

HOT POTATO BAND
From 8:00 pm & From 9:00 pm

This band of enthusiastic musicians and performers began their journey at a winery on the NSW south coast in June 2009 when band leader, Simon Ghali, gathered a handful of his musician friends to play (what he thought was) a one-off gig. Simon was asked to create a lively outfit that required no power, and so the idea of Hot Potato Band’s roving/acoustic performance was born. It wasn’t long before the band gained popularity, performing at weddings, events, and jazz festivals up and down the coast of NSW.
