Last Monday night, it was a full house for the official relaunch of Newcastle’s iconic Star Hotel.
Guests were treated to a new signature Star Cocktail on arrival as well as some delicious canapés throughout the evening, courtesy of new hosts Michael, Ally and Thomas.
The Star is, of course, internationally famous for the riot that occurred back in 1979. Mark Tinson, from The Heroes who played on the night of the riot, spoke to the crowd about the venue’s notorious history and THAT history-making night.
Today’s Star though is the perfect place for an amazing meal and superb cocktails. Make sure you head in to say hi!
