The Doug Anthony All Stars return to newcastle

Paul Mcdermott and Tim Ferguson have teamed up with mentor Paul “Flacco” Livingston for a sublime night of laughs at the Civic Theatre on May 9.

Thirty years ago, The Doug Anthony All Stars were conceived on the streets of Canberra, busking in shopping malls. DAAS went on to revolutionise comedy like no act before or since, bombarding and unsuspecting audiences with their inimitable formula: songs, sex, violence, sex and feminism (and sex). In 1995 when they threw in the towel, it stuck to the wall. Now they are back.

In 2014, DAAS returned to the stage, selling out shows around the country. Now it’s Newcastle’s turn to run screaming down memory lane with this long-awaited show featuring Australias most controversial comedy export.
