Australian politicians are facing calls to accept a major report on the climate crisis.
The report says that within the next two decades, temperatures are likely to rise by more than 1.5C above pre-industrial levels, which would be “catastrophic” for Pacific island nations and could lead to the loss of entire countries due to sea-level rise.
Former Shadow Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy and now Shadow Minister for International Development & the Pacific, Shortland Federal MP Pat Conroy joined Tracy Mac on Newcastle In The Morning to discuss the issue.
