Newcastle is set to dazzle this December when The Christmas Spectacular arrives at the Civic Theatre.
The glittering production promises a magical mix of illusions, music, dance and festive cheer, making it one of the season’s must-see events.
Fresh from a national tour that kicks off in Melbourne, the show stars master illusionist Michael Boyd and powerhouse vocalist Prinnie Stevens.
Together, they lead a line-up that blends circus artistry, sparkling choreography and timeless Christmas favourites into a high-energy festive celebration.
Audiences will be treated to Stevens’ soaring renditions of classics like All I Want for Christmas Is You and Joy to the World, while Boyd brings his signature blend of jaw-dropping illusions and stage charisma.
Known for wowing crowds on Australia’s Got Talent, Boyd’s performances promise to leave audiences both mystified and mesmerised.
Adding to the wonder is world-class aerialist Aleisha Manion, whose graceful and daring routines defy gravity and push the spectacle sky-high. Alongside her, a troupe of elite dancers and showgirls, many with international cabaret experience, bring glamour and precision to every moment on stage.
The show has been described as “Radio City Rockettes meets The Nutcracker with a Las Vegas sparkle”. It is a family-friendly experience designed to capture the spirit of Christmas in the grandest way possible. It’s a celebration of joy, wonder and togetherness, perfect for all ages.
