The Bennies Return To Newcastle On ‘Natural Born Chillers’ Tour

They are one-part Party and one-part Machine, and they’ve just announced a show at The Small Ballroom on Friday, June 29. It’s The Bennies!

The Melbourne four-piece are hitting the road in support of their new album Natural Born Chillers – which came out in February on The Smith Street Band’s new label Pool House Records.

Joining them on the tour will be up-and-coming Indie Punk outfit Young Offenders. Newcastle’s own The Gooch Palms are on the tour – but are sadly skipping the hometown show.

The Bennies have a long history with Newcastle, the band has come through multiple times through the years, hellbent on a mission to play every venue in town.

The band also recently said goodbye to bassist Craig Selak after nine years with the group, although The Bennies would assure party levels remained at an all-time high with the recruitment of Nicholas Williams of Foxtrot on bass duties.
