Back in June, Foo Fighters announced a massive concert Taylor Hawkins tribute concert would happen at England’s Wembley Stadium in September.
Now we’ve got the details on how you can stream it online too.
The band will be joined onstage during the show by artists like Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Queens of the Stone Age’s Joshua Homme and Queen’s Roger Taylor and Brian May – Just to name a few.
Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet and Taylor Hawkins’ son, Shane Hawkins will also play alongside the remaining members of the bands.
From 1:30 am, Eastern Standard Time, on Sunday, 4 September 4 Australians will be able to stream the tribute concert live on MTV’s YouTube channel.
While there is also a tribute show planned for late September in Los Angeles, the Wembley event is the only concert that has announced a live stream.
So get ready for a blurry-eyed start to Monday, or maybe plan ahead and take a sickie. We’re pretty sure it will be totally worth it.
