We have rounded up some of our favourite spots around town for you to check out below.
And if you’re game – and your belly is up for the challenge – you could prbably spend a full day here making your way around a little foodie trail.
Greg & Audreys

American Diner style food cooked fresh and made to order right in Toronto. And the menu is STACKED full of goodies. Burgers, hotdogs, fries, loaded options, nachos, ribs, wings and a rotating roster of hand made ice creams which you can also turn into amazing milk shakes served with whip cream and cherries. Basically, if you’ve got a cheat day coming up – put this place on the list.
WHERE TO FIND IT: 2/32 Victory Parade, Toronto NSW 2283
WHAT TO ORDER: The ice cream is the reason people come here, but if you ask us, the Hot Dogs pumping out of the kitchen is easily the best in the region.

Mizumi Japanese Restaurant
We were blown away by the quality of food Mizumi Japanese Restaurant was pumping out when first tried it a couple of years ago. Since then they’ve extended the menu and have added a solid selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks too.
WHERE TO FIND IT: 2/58 The Boulevarde, Toronto NSW 2283
WHAT TO ORDER: Head straight to the bento boxes. Available for lunch and dinner these bag boys not only offer great value for money they also give you a little taste of other stars on the menu.

Cleaver
What this little cafe lacks in size, it certainly makes up in flavour. These folks take their coffee-making seriously, which is while there’s always a large group of people waiting outside waiting for their morning fix. And if you need a little something to go with that coffee, there are stacks of pastries, cakes and other yumminess on offer.
WHERE TO FIND IT: 16 The Boulevarde, Toronto NSW 2283
WHAT TO ORDER: The best bacon and egg roll in Lake Mac hands down. Combine it with a coffee and you’re set up for the day.

LuLuโs Gelato Company
When LuLu’s Gelato Company opened a full-time shop in Toronto no one was complaining. LuLu’s have amassed a huge fan base since they started slinging delicious Gelato out of a pink Kombi a few years ago and for good reason.
WHERE TO FIND IT: 2 Wharf Rd, Toronto NSW 2283
WHAT TO ORDER: Whatever you choose you’ll be happy just enjoying it while you over look the water. But if we’re pushed we’d have to recommend one of the classics like the pistachio – It’s so good.

Toronto Hotel
Look, we’re not going to pretend this is some sort of gastropub, but the menu is stacked full of honest pub food that won’t get any complaints from us. And when you’re sitting in the newly renovated courtyard or pulling up a chair on one of the balconies, the view will certainly make up for anything you think the menu may be lacking.
WHERE TO FIND IT: 74 Victory Parade, Toronto NSW 2283
WHAT TO ORDER: It’s all about sticking to the classics here. You won’t go wrong with a burger or a parma.
