Calling all Bull Terriers of the Hunter… This could be your big break.

Hunter Drama is currently casting for the role of Bill Sikes’s dog, Bullseye, in their upcoming production of Oliver at the Civic Theatre Newcastle.

No performance experience is necessary to score the role, but the successful Bull Terrier will need to be available to attend rehearsals and costume fittings over the coming weeks.

White Bull Terriers with black eye patches are preferred, but, in the interest of diversity, Hunter Drama is also open to hearing from all Bull Terriers with all sorts of different markings.

The company’s production of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens’ novel will kick off for a limited season at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle on Thursday 10 March.

The successful Bull Terrier will receive the full star treatment during the production with their own personal dressing room backstage at the Civic Theatre.
