Legendary glam rock band SWEET is heading to Newcastle this November as part of its final Australian tour, bringing a hit-packed show to the Civic Theatre.

Dubbed The Final Blitz Tour, the run marks one last chance for fans to experience the unmistakable sound that defined an era, with chanting vocals, pounding drums and infectious guitar riffs set to echo through the city.

The Newcastle stop promises a full-scale celebration of the band’s enduring legacy and deep connection with Australian audiences.

Few acts embody the spirit of 1970s rock quite like SWEET, who became a chart-topping force in Australia with 13 Top 50 singles, including two number-one hits.

With more than 55 million records sold worldwide, their influence continues to resonate across generations, with Newcastle audiences set to relive the soundtrack of a golden era.

At the helm is founding guitarist Andy Scott, the driving force who has carried the band’s sound from its classic lineup through to today.

Joined by a powerhouse lineup featuring Paul Manzi, Lee Small, Tom Cory and Adam Booth, the group continues to deliver the high-energy performances and signature style that made them global stars.

Fans can expect a greatest hits setlist stacked with iconic anthems, from Ballroom Blitz and Fox on the Run to Love is Like Oxygen, Wig Wam Bam and Blockbuster.
