BATTLE OF THE BEEF: Susuru hits it out of the park with Wagyu VS Brisket Donburi!

With the taste of their EPICO collab with Mexican eatery Antojitos still fresh on everyone’s palates, Susuru has gone and done it again.

The popular East End ramen joint has unleashed another limited-edition menu item that is sure to have all Novocastrian meat lovers salivating.

This time around, its a battle for beef supremacy with the boffins at Susuru HQ creating the Wagu Vs Brisket Donburi.

Given that we here at Newcastle Live are partial to a bit of quality beef as well as a decent donburi, we couldn’t wait to check out this creation.

And we were glad we did!

Honestly, both the wagyu and brisket were melt-in-mouth tender and FULL of flavour.

Add to that some yuzu jalapeno paste, black truffle oil and a gorgeous bed of sesame soy infused rice and you’ve got yourself a meat lover’s delight worth writing home about!

While you might be wondering which meat emerged victorious in this battle of the beef? Well, at the end of the day, donburi was the real winner here and this one deserves repeat samplings!
