SURVEY: Have your say on Newcastle Cycleways

Back in March 2012 the City Of Newcastle adopted a Cycling Strategy and Action Plan. Now it’s time to revise that plan, and Council want to know what you think!

The team at City of Newcastle invites you to take its Cycling Survey to find out more about your general views on cycling, any barriers preventing you from riding your bike in and around Newcastle, and what they could implement to encourage you to cycle more.

You’ll find the survey link at the end of this post.

If you generally cycle to work you may not be riding as much as usual due to the national COVID-19 response, or you may have just taken up cycling as a recreation and fitness activity in direct response to the COVID-19 regulations. Council want to hear from you all!

Cycleways are one of City of Newcastle’s top four priority projects. So, if you’ve got an opinion on how cycling conditions around Newcastle could be improved, we encourage you to take the survey as soon as you can.

By completing the survey, your input will help shape priorities, clear directions and specific actions that the city wants to achieve over the next four to five years.
